Murial Stamm

Murial Stamm, a resident of Davis since 1972, died unexpectedly at her Davis
home on Jan. 29, 2004. Born Dec. 15, 1909, In Lake Benton, Minn., she was 94
years old.

She grew up in Pipestowe (Pipestone), Minn., and lived in Reseda, Calif., from
1965 to 1972, when she moved to Davis.

She was a longtime member of Davis Community Church, a docent at the Library
Club, a member of the International House and a senior companion. She enjoyed
walking and was very active up until her death.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Bellati and her husband Craig of Orinda
and Jeanine Roche and her husband Gerry of Irvine; and three grandchildren,
Jason Bellati of San Diego and Chelsea and Chloe Roche, both of Irvine.

Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 116 D
St. in downtown Davis. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Davis
Community Church, 412 C St. Burial will follow at the Davis Cemetery.

Remembrances in her name may be made to Davis Community Church or to
International House, Davis, 10 College Park.
