Grace E. Bigelow Haas Rentfrow

Grace E. Bigelow Hass (sic) Rentfrow passed away on June 25, 2004.  Born in
Alameda, California, on June 1, 1928, she was a great granddaughter of pioneer
lineage from the Gosling Family in Napa County and the Graham family from
Winters.  Grace was born to Lawrence D. and Mary Elizabeth (Graham) Bigelow.

Grace was married to Dwain F. Haas, who was in the Navy Submarine service. 
Grace and Dwain bought a home in Vallejo in 1956 and have lived in Vallejo since.

Their family lineage is continued through their four children, Lawrence and
Jennifer and a daughter, Amber, through a previous marriage; Donald; Patricia
and Larry with children Benjamin, Denise, Nathan and Amy; and John and Cathy
with children John and Stacy.

Grace was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was
deeply involved in doing her own genealogy along with helping others with theirs.

She was a 50-plus year member of the Eastern Star, Past Matron of the Vallejo
Chapter; Past President of the Emblem Club, a member of DAR and a member of the
Native Daughters of the Golden West.

Grace’s children, grandchildren and friends were very important to her and
showed her dedication through the many things she did in her community from the
blood bank to serving in the PTA's of her children's schools.

Services were be (sic) held Wednesday June 30, at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints in Vallejo with graveside service to be held at the Winters
Cemetery afterwards.
