Dorothy Ilene (Inman) Tingley

Dorothy Ilene (Inman) Tingley died at Alderson Convalescent Hospital, Woodland
Friday, May 21, 2004, at age 95.

Born April 18, 1909, in Oolitic, Ind., Mrs. Tingley had been a Yolo County
resident for eight years. She was employed by Holly Sugar in Swink, Colo., where
she met her husband Robert. They married in Colorado Springs in 1930 and moved
to California in 1935. They moved back to Colorado to retire from Holly Sugar
and then moved back to California in 1969. They lived in Stockton, Davis and
Woodland. She was also a member of PEO, a philanthropic organization for over 35
years.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Sconyers and husband Hal of Davis; sons,
Don Tingley and wife Margaret of Woodland and Bill Tingley and wife Sally of
Pasadena; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Bette Freeman of
Chico; and brother, Robert Inman of Denver. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Gideon Waldo Inman and Josie Franklin (Wible) Inman and husband, Robert
James Tingley I.

The family requests memorials be directed to PEO Education Loan Fund, Treasurer
of Chapter FS, Mary Hamilton, 3519 Gleneagles Drive, Stockton 95219.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland.

Services: A memorial service will be conducted privately at a later date at
Skylawn Memorial Park.
