Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net July 11, 2004, 7:32 pm Woodland "Daily Democrat," Sunday, July 4, 2004 Neal Rosenbaum Neal Rosenbaum died Monday, June 21, 2004, following a four years battling in ALS, at age 57. Born Feb. 28, 1947, in Orange, Texas, Mr. Rosenbaum spent a majority of his school-age years to the San Francisco Bay Area. In May 1966, he enlisted into the Army and served in Vietnam. He received numerous commendations and medals. He lived and worked on his parents' ranch in Etna for a short while then him and his family settled in Woodland in the early 1970s. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Nadine Rosenbaum; mother, Eleanor Hare and husband Howard of Petaluma; brother, Preston and wife Rene of Medford, Ore.; daughter, Michelle Proctor and husband Jimmy of Lake of the Pines; and son, Mark Rosenbaum and wife Jodi of Woodland. He is also survived by stepchildren, Dawn Whitaker and husband Bill of Dixon, Leigh Hannah of Sacramento and Jim Hannah and wife Trisha of Woodland; nieces, Geri, and Lynette; nephew, Joe; and grandchildren, Amy, Lacey, Corbin, Rachel, Dillon, Emily, Jamie and Eric. He was preceded in death by his father, Preston Rosenbaum. Services: Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service with military honors at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8, at Placer Hills United Methodist Church, 17250 Placer Hills Road, Meadow Vista. Burial will be held at Colfax Cemetery, Colfax. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Valley of Citrus Heights.
