Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net May 31, 2004, 1:56 pm Woodland "Daily Democrat," Wednesday, May 19, 2004 John R. Carrion, Jr. John R. Carrion Jr. died Saturday, May 15, 2004, at age 86. Born April 3, 1918, in Vacaville, Mr. Carrion was the son of the late John Sr. and Antonia Carrion. He was a Woodland resident and a longtime Arbuckle resident. He worked at Mare Island as a crane rigger. He and his wife moved to Arbuckle where they raised almonds. Upon retiring from farming, he went to work for the Arbuckle School District. Later, he and his wife relocated to Woodland. He was a member of the Arbuckle Masonic Lodge 182 and the Odd Fellows. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Julie Carrion of Woodland; sons, Allen Carrion of Arbuckle, and Richard Carrion of Sacramento; brothers, Ted and Alfonzo Carrion, both of Woodland, Willie Carrion of Florida, and Frank Carrion, also of Woodland; uncle, Joe Garrido of Arbuckle; grandchildren, Jan, Bryan, David, Anthony, and Jonathon Carrion; great-grandchildren, Brad Long, Trevor Kilgore, Nikki Carrion, Jenna Kilgore, and Osten Carrion; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary-Moore Funeral Service of Colusa. Services: Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 19, at McNary-Moore Funeral Service of Colusa. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Arbuckle Methodist Church. Burial to follow in the Arbuckle Cemetery.
