Raymond B. Rollins

Raymond Bailey Rollins died on Dec. 11, 2002. Born Feb. 24, 1936, he was 66
years old.

After serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, he graduated from UC Davis
in 1961 with a degree in agronomy. He was employed at the the Davis Municipal
Golf Course, where he enjoyed the sunrise and observing the wildlife while
maintaining the course.

A lifelong resident of California, he was happiest outdoors sharing his
knowledge of plants and animals.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Rollins of Davis; his son, Roderick Rollins
and his wife Julie of Tulare; and his daughter, Yvonne Rollins of Denver.

An open gathering of friends will be held Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at
Stonegate Country Clubhouse, 919 Lake Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Progress Ranch
for Boys in Davis or Stanford Home for Children in Sacramento.
