“Winters Express,” Thursday, May 3, 2001
Mary Amelia Mahoney

Mary Amelia Mahoney passed away on May 1, 2001, in Oroville.  Born on July 19,
1916, in South Carolina, she was 84.

Mrs. Mahoney was a resident of Winters since 1972.

She is survived by her daughter Dolores Oliver of Oroville; brothers Walter
Meetz and Phillip Meetz of Memphis, Tennessee and Lester Meetz of New York, New
York; sisters Florence Evans of Memphis, Tennessee and Myrtle Hines of New York,
New York; grandchildren Robert Oliver of Oroville, Laura Neil and Kathy Oliver
of Winters and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mahoney was preceded in death by her husband, John Harold Mahoney.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Smith’s
Colonial Chapel.  Graveside services will follow at the Winters Cemetery at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, send memorial donations to the Winters Healthcare
Foundation, 23 Main Street, Winters, CA 95694.
