Born June 14, 1948, in New Boston, Texas, she grew up in Dorris, California. After graduating from high school she moved to San Francisco and eventually Winters to raise her children. She was an active member within the community through organizations such as Winters Swim Team and Lions Club blood drives. She worked for Maier’s TV and Appliance before relocating to Sacramento. Throughout her life, she was selfless in her devotion to her children, daughter Tina Mosier of San Francisco, son Mark and daughter-in-law Kris Mosier of Hubert, North Carolina. She was the proud grandmother of Zachary and Tyler Mosier. It brought her great joy to be present in welcoming her second grandson into the world this past February. She is also survived by her mother Catholene Addington of Dorris; sisters Annette Addington of Eagle River, Arkansas, Helen McCune of Palmer, Arkansas, Juanita Lehr of Sacramento; brother Bill Addington; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Jess Addington, and twin brother Dean Addington. Memorial services will be held at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Winters on Friday, March 9, at noon.
