Andrew Eugene Danzero

Mr. Andrew Danzero passed away on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001 at Cottonwood Health
Care in Woodland.  Born on January 7, 1919 in Joliet, Illinois, he was 82 years
old.

Mr. Danzero was raised in Joliet, Illinois and graduated from Joliet High School
and Joliet Junior College.  After Junior College he attended and graduated from
the University of Illinois at Champaign.  He served in the United States Navy
from 1940 to 1945 during World War II.  He has been a resident of Winters for
the past 44 years.  He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American
Legion and Lions Club.  He was a Cub Scout Master and 4-H Leader.  He was on the
Apricot Advisory Board and a member of the producers association.  He was past
president of the Farm Bureau, the Winters School District and the Free Stone
Peach Association.  Mr. Danzero was also a member of the Winters Cemetery
District Board.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann Danzero of Winters, and his two sons
Andy Danzero of Sacramento and Fred Danzero of Ventura.  He leaves numerous
nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, March 2, 2001 at 11
a.m. at the Winters Cemetery, 415 Cemetery Drive in Winters.

Remembrances may be made in his name to the Winters Health Care Association, 23
Main Street, Winters, CA or the Alzheimer’s Association.  Arrangements are under
the direction of Smith’s Colonial Chapel in Winters.
