Mary S. Azevedo

Mary S. Azevedo passed away on Friday, Feb. 9 in Davis.  She was born Dec. 14,
1903 in St. George, Azores.  Mrs. Azevedo was a past member of the Altar Society
at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Our Lady of Fatima Society of Dixon, U.P.P.E.C.
and St. James Catholic Church in Davis.  A 54-year resident of Yolo County, she
lived in Winters, Dixon, Davis and El Macero, she was preceded in death by her
husband, John Azevedo and her brother, Joseph Silva.

She is survived by her Goddaughter, Mary Avila of Palo Alto, her sister-in-law,
Mary Azevedo of Guistine, her cousin, Manuel J. Silva and his wife, Deidre and
their children of El Macero.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

All were invited to a time of visitation from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13 with
a rosary at 7 p.m. at Davis Funeral Chapel, 116 D Street, in Davis.  A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. at St. James
Catholic Church, in Davis.  The burial took place in the Winters Cemetery. 
Directions to the reception will follow the graveside prayers.

Donations may be made in her memory, to Our Lady of Fatima Society, 740 Marvin
Way, Dixon, CA 95620.
