Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net July 15, 2004, 12:48 am “Winters Express,” Thursday, February 1, 2001 Drury Robert Streeter Drury Robert Streeter, born in Winters, on July 24, 1910, died peacefully at home on January 27, 2001 at age 90. He was preceded in death by his wife, and then his son, Gary. Mr. Streeter served as an infantry officer in the European Theater in World War II, and led his men with valor. Until his passing, he remained close friends with those who served with him, attending yearly reunions, visiting with them and their families throughout the years. After retirement he enjoyed photography, wood carving and trips to the coast and Napa Valley. At his request no services will be held. His wishes were to be cremated and scattered at a childhood sanctuary. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, CA 95617.
