Born Oct. 8, 1911, in Norman, Okla., Mrs. Knight had been a Yolo County resident for 67 years. She was a Charter member of Assembly 19 International Order of Rainbow, Placerville. She graduated from El Dorado High School, Placerville in 1930; attended College of Marin and Sacramento Junior College; Heald's Business College in Sacramento. Was a homemaker and bookkeeper for L. Knight Company, the family farm. Member and past President of Delta Theta Tau Sorority and the Priscilla Club. Survivors include her son, Delbert Knight and wife Bonnie of Peoria, Ariz.; daughter, Becky Tobitt and husband Tad of Fairfield; grandchildren, Jamie Tobitt of Chula Vista, Molly Shock of North Hollywood, Leslie Cheaney of Klamath Falls, Ore., Chris Knight of Woodland, and Wendy Knight of Sacramento; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Sarah, Aaron and Elizabeth Cheaney, Savannah Land, and Amelia Tobitt; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Catherine Harbison; husband, Leonard (Dude) Knight; sisters, Doris Sumner and Edith Rasmusson; and brother, Burton Anderson. The family requests memorials be directed to American Heart Association, 1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, Ca. 94010. Arrangements are under the direction of Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland. Services: A graveside service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, at Mary's Chapel Cemetery, with a burial to follow.
