Tamayo Mrs. Tamayo died on Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Woodland Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was 88 years old. She lived in Woodland for 42 years. Mrs. Tamayo attended perpetual Catholic School in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Tamayo worked in food service, retail and was a devoted, loving mother to her children. Estella was loved and admired by many, but by no one more than her family. She will be truly missed. Mrs. Tamayo is survived by her daughters, Beatrice Kirby of Texas, Bertha Losoya of Vacaville, and Irma Mora of San Diego; son-in-law Benjamin Losoya of Vacaville and 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Tamayo was preceded in death by her son Phillip Gonzales Sr. Visitation and Rosary are scheduled for 7 p.m., Monday, May 3, at McNary's Funeral Chapel, 458 College St., Woodland. A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4, at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 305 Walnut St. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery on West Street.
