Harold Kloss

Harold Kloss died in Woodland Sunday, April 25, 2004, at age 90.

Born June 5, 1913, in Tulare, S.D., Mr. Kloss had been a Yolo County resident
for 25 years. He obtained his master's degree in education in South Dakota. He
was an educator and superintendent of schools for 35 years. During his
retirement, he traveled with his wife and was a volunteer with Woodland Health
Care Auxiliary.

Survivors include his children, Patrice White and husband Bruce of Davis, Reba
Ranazzi and husband John of Roseville, Luzanne Martin and husband John of
Woodland, Karen Hopkins and husband Layne, and Faye Miller and husband Don, all
of Minnesota; grandchildren, Adam and Aaron of Davis, Alex of Roseville, Samuel
of Woodland, Ranae Lacey of Minnesota, and Julie Tow and Sharie Barr of
Minnesota; and four great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen
Kloss, in 1994.

The family requests memorials be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis,
95616. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland.

Services: Services are scheduled for Monday, May 3, in South Dakota.
