Victoria M. (Vannucci) Harder died at Alderson Convalescent Hospital on 
Friday, Jan. 6, 2006 at age 87.

Mrs. Harder was born Nov. 6, 1918 in Capay to Etalo J. and Bianca R. 
(Giambastiani) Vannucci. She had been a Yolo County resident her entire life. 
She worked as a postmistress in the Capay Post office until 1940. Also, she 
was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, where she worked for 40 years as a 
caretaker of the residence of the priests.

Survivors include Mrs. Harder's son, Clifford Harder Jr. and his wife Jean of 
Woodland; her grandchildren, Stephen Harder, David Harder, Sarah Grisso and 
her husband Brandon, Aimee Harder and Bryan Harder, all of Woodland; Barry 
Harder and his wife Diana and Melissa Harder of Washington state; five great-
grandchildren; her sister, Della Motroni of Woodland; her brother, Paul V. 
Vannucci and his wife Joy of Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was 
preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clifford H. Harder Sr.; her 
parents; three sisters; and one brother.

The family requests memorials in Mrs. Harder's name be directed to the Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church Building Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Services: A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Kraft Bros. 
Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland. A Mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 301 
Walnut St., Woodland with Father John Boll officiating. Kraft Bros. Funeral 
Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
