Carolyn Yvonne Phillips died at Cottonwood Healthcare in Woodland Saturday, 
Oct. 1, 2005, at age 59.

Mrs. Phillips was born June 30, 1946 in Ardmore, Okla. to Arthur and Nellie 
(Maricle) Hillmon. She attended Lorena High School in Wichita Falls, Texas. 
She had been a Woodland resident for five months and a Sacramento County 
resident for 30 years. For five years, she worked as a flight attendant.

Survivors include Mrs. Phillips' mother, Nellie Moore and her husband Gary of 
Kingwood, Texas; her brothers, Gary L. Hillmon of Woodland and Leonard W. 
Moore of Kingwood, Texas; her niece, Angela Smith; her nephew, Randy Hillmon, 
both of Woodland; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials in Mrs. Phillips' name be directed to the Lupus 
Foundation of America, Inc., 2000 L Street, N.W., Suite 710, Washington, D.C. 
20036.

Services: A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. today, Wednesday at 
Woodland United Fellowship, 240 N. West St., Woodland. Evergreen Funeral 
Service of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
