Gerry Honig, age 77 years, passed away in Woodland on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006. 
She was born in Willows, and for the past 15 years has lived in Dunnigan with 
her husband Micheal Honig on the family farm. Gerry was the only daughter of 
Goober and Louise (Titus) Harwell. Gerry had worked as a telephone operator 
for the telephone company in Yuba City for 15 years after graduating from high 
school. She also spent the last 15 years volunteering her time working with 
the residents of St. John's Retirement Village here in Woodland, sharing her 
life stories.

Gerry is survived by her husband of 54 years, Micheal M. Honig of Dunnigan, 
her daughter Michelle Honig-Speckert and her husband Brent of Rocklin and her 
grandson Grant Speckert and granddaughter Sydney Speckert. Gerry also will be 
missed by her brother J.R. Harwell. She was predeceased by her parents.

Honoring Gerry's wishes, a private family funeral service, with interment at 
Monument Hill Memorial Park occurred on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006. Memorial 
contributions may be made to Hospice of Yolo County, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 
95617 in Gerry's name.

Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements. For
