Susan Diane Jorgensen died at her home in Esparto Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 at 
age 64.

Mrs. Jorgensen was born May 26, 1941 in Glendale. She lived in Yolo County for 
42 years. She grew up in Temple City and received her bachelor's degree from 
Los Angeles State University. For 26 years she was employed at UC Davis in the 
Graduate Division. After retiring she was active with the Friends of the 
Esparto Library and with the Sacramento Zoo.

Survivors include Mrs. Jorgensen's husband of 42 years, Larry Jorgensen of 
Esparto; her nephew, Nathan Hood and family of Tucson, Ariz.; and numerous 
nieces and nephews in California. She was preceded in death by her father and 
mother , John and Dorothy Kilburn and her sister, Carol Hood.

The family requests that memorials in Mrs. Jorgensen's name be directed to the 
Friends of the Esparto Library, P.O. Box 787, Esparto, 95627 or the Sacramento 
Zoological Society, 3930 West Lane Park Dr., Sacramento, 95822-1123.

Services: Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Jorgensen, no services are scheduled. 
McNary's Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
