Mahoney, Cydney Lynn    
 
Feb. 5, 1971 - Feb. 25, 2006

After years of enduring pain, Cydney has finally stepped through the gates of 
heaven where she will find everlasting peace and beauty.

Cydney Mahoney, age 35 years, was the daughter of Michael and Linda Mahoney, 
sister to John Mahoney and sister-in-law to Stacy Mahoney, Auntie to Sean, 
Brian and Grace. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Homer and Bonnie 
Brady of Woodland, her aunt Mary Mahoney of Sacramento, uncle George Mahoney 
of Brookings, Ore. and uncle Gary Brady and his wife Linda of Anchor Point, 
Alaska.

Cydney came to live in the Bay Area at age of 2 1/2 years. She attended local 
schools. Graduated from Mercy High School in Burlingame and College of Notre 
Dame DE Namur, Belmont with a B.S. degree in business. She also worked for 
Franklin Templeton and just recently at USGS in Menlo Park.

Despite her physical disabilities, she never stopped pursuing her zest for 
life. She treasured her many friends that she made throughout her life.

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3 at Mercy High School Chapel, 
Mercy Center, 2300 Adeline Drive, Burlingame. Phone (650) 340-7405.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Make A Wish 
Foundation, 3550 North Central Ave., Suite 300, Phoenix, Ariz. 85012-2127; 
Mercy High School, Burlingame, Mater Delorosa Convent, South San Francisco; or 
the Cydney L. Mahoney Memorial Fund to help young people with physical
