Edelmira Romero died at Woodland Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 23 at age 
68.

Mrs. Romero was born July 14, 1937 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Isabel and Dolores 
(Correa) Marquez. She had been a Yolo County resident for 12 years. She had 
been a homemaker for 40 years and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Survivors include Mrs. Romero's husband of 34 years, Nicolas Romero; her 
daughter, Elvira Romero; her sons, Nicolas, Fabio and Arnulfo Romero, all of 
Woodland; and eight grandchildren. 

Services: Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, at 
Woodland Family Worship Center, 386 W. Beamer St., Woodland. A Mass of 
Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church, 301 Walnut St., Woodland. Interment will follow the 
service at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Woodland. Evergreen Funeral Service of 
Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
