Pena, Joseph Marquez       
 
July 11, 1933 - Nov. 6, 2005

Joseph Marquez Pena died at UC Davis Hospital in Sacramento Sunday, Nov. 6, 
2005 at age 72.

Mr. Pena was born in Pearsall, Texas on July 11, 1933 to Ciprano and Sophia 
(Marquez) Pena. He had been a Yolo County resident for six years. He attended 
high school in Fremont. He was employed as a warehouse supervisor for 
Montgomery Ward for more than 20 years.

Survivors include Mr. Pena's sons, Gary and Randy Pena of West Sacramento and 
Curtis Pena of Edgewood, Wash.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 
his sisters, Lupe Pena and Rosie Marones of Union City and Mary Hernandez of 
Hayward; and his brothers, Manuel Pena of Modesto and John Pena of Niles. He 
was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Carmen Ceja.

Services: A celebration of Mr. Pena's life will be scheduled at a later date. 
Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland is assisting the family with 
arrangements.
