Olive "Ollie" Puerner of Woodland died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at age 77.

Mrs. Puerner was born Nov. 29, 1928 in Woodland. She moved away for a spell 
then returned where she's been for the last 29 years. She attended to Filmore 
Elementary and Woodland High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at Alderson 
for about 10 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-
day Saints.

Survivors include Mrs. Puerner's children, Amelia Wagner of San Jose, Cynthia 
Calabro of Woodland, Charlie Puerner of Carmichael, Sarah Schwendinger of Elk 
Grove, Sadie Puerner of Tempe, Ariz., Betsy Campaigne of Woodland and Sandra 
Puerner of Phoenix; 22 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brother, 
David Robinson and his wife Mary Ann; and many nieces and nephews. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, Charles Robinson and Alma Francis (Evans); 
her sisters, Lucille Dole, Bessie Barlow, Emma Hesseler, Rhoda Fish, Florence 
Robinson, Louise Lewis and Maybell Altpeter; and her brothers, Frank, Charles, 
Raymond, Elmer, George, Edward, James.

Services: Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 17. McNary's Chapel is assisted the 
family with arrangements.
