Takeshi Bob Tanaka died in Sacramento Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at age 81.

Mr. Tanaka was born Sept. 19, 1924 in Los Angeles to Hisako and Megumi Tanaka. 
He had been a Woodland resident for 37 years.

Survivors include Mr. Tanaka's wife Janet; his daughter, Kathy and her husband 
Tom; his son, Alan and his wife Lee Anne; his grandsons, Ian, Kyle, Connor, 
Sean and Craig; and his siblings, Richard, Jim, Clarence, John, Sam, Ted, Joe, 
Alice, Grace and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Tanaka, private family services were 
held. The George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers of Sacramento assisted the family 
with arrangements.
