Nov. 23, 1924 - Dec. 23, 2005

Helen Galaviz Trejo died at her Knights Landing residence on Friday, Dec. 23, 
2005, at age 81. Born in Chico, on Nov. 23, 1924 to Bonificio and Elena Trejo, 
Mrs. Trejo grew up in Hamilton until moving to Yolo County, where she resided 
for the past 65 years. A homemaker for her adult life, Mrs. Trejo had been a 
member of Comitte Mexicano de Beneficia No. 2 for the past 60 years and 
Victory Praise Church for the last 30 years.

Mrs. Trejo is survived by daughters; Felicia Brooks, Mary Helen Trejo and 
Ofilia Payan and husband Steven all of Knights Landing; a son Anthony Trejo of 
Yuba City; sisters Mary McLean of Woodland and Frances Hernandez of Stockton. 
Mrs. Trejo is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 
numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband Francisco Trejo, a son Dario Trejo, 
two sisters Guillerma Andrade and Margaret Galaviz and brothers Domingo and 
Manuel Galaviz preceded her in death.

Services: Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 
28, 2005 at Knights Landing Cemetery on County Road 102 in Knights Landing. 
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Diabetes Association 
in Mrs. Trejo's memory. Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland is assisting the 
family with arrangements.
