Tucker, Elsie Marion    
 
Elsie Marion Tucker of Woodland died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006 at age 91.

Mrs. Tucker was born Feb. 11, 1915 in Fargo, Okla. to Marion McMillin and 
Lillie Dye. She had been a Yolo County resident for 40 years. She attended 
secondary school and was a mother and homemaker for 71 years. She was also a 
member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include Mrs. Tucker's daughters, Melba Taylor, Carol Pena and her 
husband John, Mary Fisher all of Sacramento and Letha Desimone and her husband 
Richard of Phoenix; her stepdaughters, Marilyn Tucker of Utah, Diana Correia 
and Ellen Vick and her husband John all of Woodland, and Betty Jones and her 
husband Aaron of Fairfield; her son, John McMillin and his wife Cheryl of 
Woodland; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-
grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 27 years, Truman 
J. McMillin; her second husband of 31 years, Lloyd H. Tucker; her daughter, 
Doris Carson; her stepdaughter, Leona McMillin; her stepson, Lloyd Tucker; her 
parents; her sister, Delta Braunlich; and her brother, Luther McMillin.

Services: Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at 
McNary's Chapel, 458 College St., Woodland. A funeral will follow at 11 a.m. 
Friday, Feb. 24 at McNary's. Interment will be at East Lawn Sierra Hills 
Memorial Park in Sacramento. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with 
arrangements.
