March 2, 1926 - March 17, 2006


Loretta Frances Tucker died Friday, March 17, 2006 at age 80.

Mrs. Tucker was born March 2, 1926 in Stockton. She graduated from UC Berkeley 
in 1947 and made a career in education and worked 20 years for the Woodland 
school district until her retirement in 1984. She pledged Beta Sigma Phi in 
1957, becoming a 47-year Paid for Life member and holding the Master Degree 
and the Order of the Rose honor. Her last chapter was Gamma Master. She was 
also a member of the Woodland Shakespeare Club. 

Survivors include Mrs. Tucker's sons, John of Woodland; James and his wife 
Evelyn of Medford, Ore., Jef and his wife Mary of Medford, Ore. and her 
grandchildren, Elly, Lily and Joseph.

Services: Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Tucker, private services are 
scheduled. The Neptune Society of Northern California is assisting the family 
with arrangements.
