Laurence Arthur Wallace died at the Woodland Clinic on Monday, Jan. 23, 2006 
at age 77.

Mr. Wallace was born May 14, 1928 in Woodland. He was a life-long Woodland 
resident. He graduated from Woodland High School. He was an operating engineer 
and a farmer for more than 60 years. He was a member of the Yolo Volunteer 
Fire Department and the Woodland Elks Club.

Survivors include Mr. Wallace's wife of 59 years, Wilma Storz Wallace; his 
daughter, Linda Wallace; his son, Ken Wallace; his grandchildren, Johnny and 
Richie Gunter and Amie Wallace; his great-grandchildren, Colton, Carston and 
Cody Gunter; and his sister, Marleen Wallace, all of Woodland. He was preceded 
in death by his parents, Miner and Fern Wallace.

Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Wallace, private graveside services 
were held. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
