Ward, Norma L.  
 
Sept. 18, 1920 - Feb. 15, 2006

Norma L. Ward died at Stollwood Convalescent Home in Woodland on Wednesday, 
Feb. 15, 2006 at age 85.

Mrs. Ward was born Sept. 18, 1920 in Mandan, N.D. She had been a Yolo County 
resident for 56 years. She was a high school graduate and worked for 23 years 
for the County of Yolo.

Survivors include Mrs. Ward's sons, David and Richard Ward; her grandchildren, 
Chris, Jedd, Caitlyn and Casey Ward, Kathleen Santiago, Emiley Simpson, 
Patrick Hague and Karen Holmes; eight great-grandchildren; and her brother, Ed 
Daffinrude and his wife Rebecca. She was preceded in death by her husband of 
60 years, William E. Ward and her sister, Marion Hayworth.

The family requests memorials in Mrs. Ward's name be directed to the charity 
of the donor's choice.

Services: A graveside service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today, Saturday, at 
Monument Hill Memorial Park, 35036 County Road 22, Woodland. Reverend Robert 
Pratt will officiate. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with 
arrangements.
