Everett Washburn died in Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, Friday Dec. 23, 
2005, at age 76.

Born Oct. 7, 1929, in Yountville, Mr. Washburn had been a Yolo County resident 
for 76 years. He was the son of the late William Washburn and Emma (Mason) 
Washburn. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years during World War II, 
stationed in the Pacific Islands. He was employed as a mechanic for about 50 
years in the Woodland area.

His survivors include his daughter, Marcella Lynn Washburn of Sacramento; son, 
Larry Washburn; grandchildren, Scott Babb, Ashley Krivonojko, and Matt and 
Angela Washburn; three great-grandchildren, Isaiah Anthony Babb, Zacariah Lee 
Babb and Natasha Krivonojko; and his sister, Mollie Marion. He was preceded in 
death by his wife of 42 years, Marvurenne (Gulart) Washburn; son, Don 
Washburn; and, brothers, Al and Bill Washburn.

The family requests memorials be directed to Yolo County Hospice. Arrangements 
are under the direction of Affordable Cremation, Burial & Casket Center of 
Sacramento.

Services: A celebration of life service is scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, 
Jan. 8, 2006, at the VFW Hall, 345 W. Kentucky Ave., Woodland.
