Mr. Willard was born July 20, 1953 in Woodland to Dale and Alma Lee Willard. He was a lifelong Yolo County resident. He was raised and attended school in Winters. He was also a member of the Discovery Worship Center in Winters. Survivors include Mr. Willard's mother, Alma Lee Jones; his daughter Melissa Overgaard and her husband Mark; his granddaughter, Kendall Overgaard; his sister, Tina Minges; his brothers, Dale Ray Willard, Marty Willard and Austin Veliz; his nieces and nephews, Jeffery Shane and Weston Willard, Marty Willard Jr., Benjamin, Tyler, Jarret and Katie Veliz, Christian, Zachary and Jessica Minges; his aunts and uncles, Randall and Barbara Swink, Dale Swink, Dwayne and Carla Swink, Lynn and Josie Swink, Glenn and Bonita Gay, Mark Swink and Geraldine Willard; his cousins, Kimberley and Jr. Galabasa, Benny and Connie Willard, Todd, Ryan, Adam, Michelle and Amy Gay, Randy Swink, Phillip and Sue Swink, Janell and Rick Garcia, Nicholas and Kelly Swink, Aaron and Diane Blanchard, Jason and Laura Blanchard, Sherry and Phil Robertson, Lenial and Sheryl Stankewitz, Delane and Carla Swink, Robert and Kathy Swink, Macario and Joemar Dagdagan, the Gillespie and Shirley families. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Willard; grandparents, Delbert and Zella Mae Swink, Walter "Heavy" Willard and Bessie Younger; his uncles, Laverll Swink and Uncle Jiggs; and his cousin, Bruce Willard. The family requests memorials in Mr. Willard's name be directed to the First Baptist Food Closet, 512 First St., Winters, 95694; and to the Discovery Worship Center, 315 Edwards St., Winters, 95694. Services: A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the Winters Cemetery. A celebration of Mr. Willard's life will follow at the Discovery Worship Center, 315 Edwards St., Winters.
