The attached photograph is of Fernando C. Ruggles (AKA F. C. Ruggles), brother 
of Eli Fayette Ruggles who wrote "Recollections of a Busy Life." 

Fernando was born 1819 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; died 1896 Woodland, 
Yolo County, California. His parents were Joseph & Sylvia (Brown) Ruggles.

Fernando C. Ruggles married Leanna (Kinkle) Ruggles; they are my maternal great 
grandparents. Feel free to contact me if you wish to share information on this
