Atty. E T Manwell, on behalf of the bar association, moved to have the session adjourned in honor of Weis, an attorney for 43 years. Manwell said there was no finer "gentleman in the local and state courts" and that Weis was the "highest type practitonier" as an attorney. Heart Attack Weis died at Rideout Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack in Hotel Marysville. He was a member of the Rideout Hospital board of trustees from June 1927 to April 1958 and for nearly 20 years served as president of the board.
