Copy of newspaper obituary in my posession
Funeral services were held at the Rice funeral chapel on Wednesday [23 Mar 
1960] afternoon at 2 o'clock for Ralph H. Howard of Brighton, Colo., who died 
Sunday noon [20 Mar 1960] in a Denver hospital. Interment was made in 
Brighton's Elmwood cemetery. 

Ralph H. Howard was born on Sept. 20, 1884, at Douglas, Neb. When he was two, 
his parents moved to Colby [KS] where Howard grew up. 

He married Minnie Benda on May 27, 1908, at Halford [KS] and in 1917 the family 
moved to Craig [CO] where Howard operated a grain elevator for approximately 10 
years before moving to Steamboat Springs where he operated the Farmer's 
Elevator for two years. The Howards the moved to a farm near Boulder where they 
lived until 1934, and since that time he had operated a farm west of Brighton. 

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Howard, four daughters and one son.
