Ii have a copy of the article that her Florence had in her possession
Memorial services for Mrs. Eva M. Johnson, 62, of Brighton, were held Friday at 
the First United Methodist Church, Brighton. Private cremation services were at 
Riverside Crematory, Commerce City.

Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday [April 7, 1972] at her home after a brief illness.
Born Nov. 29, 1909, at Halford, Kan., she was married to James L. Johnson April 
15, 1932, in Vernal, Utah. They lived in Craig, Colo., and Mount Vernon, Ill., 
before moving to Brighton in 1940.

Mrs. Johnson, a retired school teacher at Hazeltine School, Adams County, and 
in Fort Lupton, attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, and was a 1961 
graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colo.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband; a son, James H., Brighton; two 
daughters, Mrs. Julia H. Spafford, Huntsville, Ala., and Mrs. Lynda J. 
Zatarain, Brighton, her mother, Mrs. R. H. Howard, Brighton; three sisters, 
Mrs. Florence Gustafson, Denver, Mrs. Maxine Gibson, Flagstaff, Ariz., and Mrs. 
Elvira Kirkmeyer, Brighton; a brother, David E. Howard, Brighton, and six 
grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions to Children's Asthma Research Institute and 
Hospital, 3401 W 19th Ave., Denver 80204
