LONGMONT.

    An important agricultural center in Boulder county, on the Colorado &
    Southern and C., B. & Q. Rys., 14 miles northeast of Boulder, and 33
    miles northwest of Denver. Its population has increased from 2,145 in
    1900 to 7,000 at the present time. It has a live commercial association,
    three banks, twelve churches, public library, Young Ladies' Academy
    (Catholic), four large modern school buildings with, all the requirements
    of a growing city.

    Immense deposits of coal close to the city, electric power, an abundance of
    water, a most fertile soil and an ideal climate. 

    In a word, Longmont is a most favorable place to do business, to invest
    money or carry on a manufacturing enterprise.
    Altitude 4.980 feet.
