The gate to the Niwot Cemetery faces south and is positioned at about the center
of the property line.

The first burial in Niwot Cemetery took place in 1874.  Niwot is a charming small town 
located a couple of miles east of Colorado Highway 119 about half way between 
Boulder and Longmont on County Road 34.
