Mansfield L. Towner of Boulder, Co. C. T. of lawful age, being first duly sworn 
on oath doth depose and say, that affiant is personally acquainted with Alice 
J. Goyn of Boulder Co. and also that he is one of, the persons who have made 
application to the County Clerk of Boulder County, Colorado, for a MARRIAGE 
LICENSE, and that the said persons the said Alice J. Goyn and himself and each 
of them are wholly and in every respect legally competent under the Laws of 
Colorado to be married, that is to say: that neither of said parties are 
related to each other in any degree debaring them from marriage with each 
other; that both of said persons are unmarried persons; and that he the said 
Mansfield L. Towner is over the age of twenty-one years; and that the said 
Alice J. Goyn is not over the age of eighteen years but has the consent of her 
parents to such marriage and further, that said affiant knows of no legal 
impediment or hindrance to said Marriage.

Mansfield Loammi Towner was born 14 Oct 1847 in Hunter, NY to Rueben Towner and 
Lucinda Howard. Alice Mimea Goyn was born 1 April 1858 in Gregory, Iowa to 
Richard Goyn and Catherine Crippen,
