This cemetery is located under U.S.Highway 50, about half way up Monarch Pass (new highway). The Colorado State Highway Department has reports on file that state no bodies were ever moved at the time the highway was improved in the 1930's. Frank GIMLETT, the "Hermit of Arbourville," states the same information in his series of booklets. Some of his information has been found to be incorrect, however, and must be used with caution.
