Butler, Robert C.
Delta Independent Wednesday March 18, 1953
	Delta - Robert Camp Butler, resident of Delta County 65 years, died at 
12:15 a.m. today at his home at 524 Meeker Street.
	Funeral arrangements, being made at the Lamar Funeral Home, pending 
word from a daughter in California.
	Mr. Butler was born Oct. 25, 1876, in Rutherford, NC.  He married 
Octavia O'Rourke in the Uncompahgre Valley in December 1900 and she passed 
away Jan. 3, 1950.  He was a retired farmer.
	Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. W. R. Henderson of Los Angeles, 
Calif. and Mrs. Jess Ensley of Reed; two sons, Jack A. Butler and Bernard B. 
Butler both of Delta; a sister Mrs. Essie J. Walker of Ouray; 13 grandchildren 
and several nieces and nephews.
