Grand Junction Daily Sentinel Tuesday August 17, 1982 pg. 5 Jack A. butler of Delta died Saturday, Aug. 17, 1982, at the Delta County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 75. Mr. Butler was a retired farmer and owner of a liquor store, formerly known as Jack's Liquor. He was born Oct. 11, 1907, in Delta, where he spent his childhood and attended schools. He married Mary Stark Jan. 8, 1935, in Delta. She survives. Mr. Butler was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church of Delta. Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Margaret Nagel of Delta, Cecilia Spangler of Grand Junction and Patricia Noble of Kenai, Alaska; one son, Bill of Clifton; two sisters, Agneta Ensley of Austin and Lola Henderson of Denver; and seven grandchildren.
