Delta County Independent Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1950 pg. 3
	Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Butler, 74, will be held at 10:00 
a.m. Saturday, Jan 7, at St. Michael’s Catholic church with Father Joseph Kane 
officiating.  Burial will be in Delta cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mart 
Pfifer, Ralph Henderson, Wilson Davis, Ernest Ensley, J. E. Pulliman, and 
Walter Leonard.  The body will lie in state at the Lamar funeral home from 
10:00 a.m. Friday until after rosary services which will be held at 7:30 p.m. 
Friday evening.
	Frances Octavia Butler was born Feb. 15, 1876 at Montgomery City, MO, 
and died Jan. 3 at Delta, after being in failing health for about six months.  
She had resided in Delta for 48 years and was a resident of Colorado for 54.
	She was married Dec. 31, 1901 to R. C. Butler, who survives.  Other 
survivors include four children, J. A. Butler and Bernard Butler, both of 
Delta; Mrs. Agneta Ensley, Read; and Mrs. Lola Henderson, Los Angeles Calif.  
Also two sisters, Mrs. Lena Hall, Parsons, Ks.;  Mrs. Agnes Pritchard, Ouray; 
and one brother, Mike O’Rourke of Telluride and 12 grandchildren and one great 
grandchild.
