Clark Elderfinder@aol.com November 3, 2002, 9:10 am OBITUARY Paonia Thursday March 2, 1916 MRS. ISAAC CLARK PASSES TO GREAT BEYOND MONDAY Mrs. Isaac Clark passed away at her home on Stucker mesa Monday morning, death resulting from a long illness of cancer. Burial was made Tuesday afternoon in Bethlehem cemetery following a brief service at the house in charge of Rev. T. C. Collister. Mrs. Clark's maiden name was Amanda Buchanan. She was born in Pitman county, (Putnam?) Indiana, on the second of August in 1847. At six years of age she moved with her parents to Ottumwa, Iowa, where in 1865 she married Isaac Clark, who survives her. In 1907 they came to Colorado and have since made their home with their three surviving children, Chas. W. and George Clark, and Mrs. A.O. Stucker. The celebration of their golden wedding anniversary a year ago was a notable family and neighborhood event. The mourning ones have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
