Pete Doyle Dies

Following an illness of about three weeks, Peter Edward Doyle, 
well-known Austin rancher, passed away January 21, death being 
due to lobar pneumonia.  The deceased was born at Achilles, Kansas, 
September 29, 1890, and at the time of his passing was 45 years, 
four months, and twenty-three days of age.

The family has lived in the Austin neighborhood for a number of years, 
and have many friends to mourn the loss of a good neighbor and friend.

Immediate relatives surviving are: his wife, Frances Shipley Doyle, 
and one son, Lester Allen Doyle about ten years of age.

Funeral services will be held today at 2:00 o'clock from the Pentecostal 
Church on Eaton Avenue, conducted y Reverend Martin of the Austin Baptist 
Church, and Reverend Morton of the Delta Pentecostal church.  Interment 
will be in Garnet Mesa cemetery.

Peter Edward Doyle September 27, 1890 Achilles, Rawlins County, Kansas 
and died January 21, 1936 Read, Delta County, Colorado.  He married 
September 21, 1921 Delta, Delta County, Colorado to Francis Dorsey 
Shipley (January 9, 1903 Nuckollo County, Nebraska-February 4, 1991 Eckert, 
Delta County, Colorado).  Lester was their only child
