Henderson, Lola M. (Butler)

	Lola Butler Henderson died Dec. 29, 1997, at Holly Heights Nursing 
Home at Denver.  She was born to Robert C. and Octavia (O’Rourke) Butler.  She 
spent her childhood years in Delta, Graduated with the Class of 1922.
	She married Robert Henderson at Los Angeles, Calif.
	She was accomplished seamstress.
	After the death of her husband in 1961, Mrs. Henderson began oil 
painting.  Many of her paintings hang in the homes of her nieces and nephews 
in Delta.
	She lived in Los Angeles until 1977 when she moved to Denver to be 
with her daughter.
	She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Lois and Grant Jensen 
of Highlands Ranch; a son and his wife Ed and Mary Henderson of La Crescenta, 
Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Judy Henderson of Palm Desert, Calif.; 12 grand 
children; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous 
nieces and nephews and other relatives living in Delta.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, 
brothers, Jack and Bernard; sisters, Dora Butler and Agneta Ensley.
	A memorial services for Mrs. Henderson was held in Denver at Bullodck 
Mortuary on Friday January 2, at 10 am.  A Mass of Christian Burial is 
scheduled Wednesday, January 7, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2411 
Montrose Avenue, in Montrose, Calif. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in 
Culver City, Calif.
	Memorial contributions may be made to:  Little Sisters of the Poor, in 
care of Lois Jensen, 10064 Keenan St. Highlands Ranch, CO 80126.
	Crippen Mortuary in La Crescenta, Calif., was in charge of 
arrangements.
