Delta County Independent Thursday February 5, 1948 pg. 4
	Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Butler have received word of the deaths of Mr. and 
Mrs. J. F. Kistler of Long Beach, Calif.  Mrs. Kistler, 83, died Jan. 22, 
following a paralysis stroke.  Mr. Kistler, 87 died Friday, Jan. 30.  Mr. and 
Mrs. Kistler were former residents of Delta County, owning and operating what 
is now Remington’s men’s store.  Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Frank 
Preckter, Compton, Calif.; a son, Richard Kistler, Carpenteria, Calif.; two 
grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Services were held at Compton Calif.
