At Pueblo, occurred the death of Michael O'Rourke, well known resident of this city for many years. Mr. O'Rourke had suffered for several years from a cancer in the head and this had finally ended his useful life. He was a kind gentleman, liked by all, and he will be sadly missed here in Delta. Several months ago he left Delta going east. When his health continued to fail he started to return home, but became worse and remained with his daughter in Pueblo until the end came. He leaves several sons and daughters behind who are as follows: John O'Rourke of Delta; M. O'Rourke, Jr., now in South America; Mrs. R. C. Butler, of Delta; Mrs. W. Hall, in Kansas; Mrs. John Pritchard, of Montrose and Mrs. William Pritchard of Hastings Mesa. The remains were brought to this city Monday afternoon and funeral services were conducted from Saint Peter's Catholic church Tuesday morning, Interment being in Delta Cemetery.
