Funeral services were conducted by Father Erger at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning at the Catholic church and interment made in the Garnet Mesa cemetery. Mary Devine was born at Montgomery City, Mo. Feb 14, 1841, making her 84 years of age at the time of her demise. In 1857 she was united in marriage to Michael O’Rourke and in 1895, they came to Colorado, locating in Delta where deceased has made her home ever since. Following Mr. O’Rourke’s death on Sept 5, 1916, Mrs. O’Rourke had been living with her daughter, Mrs. W. E. McKie, 947 Vine Street. Surviving the deceased are three daughters, Mrs. Joe Armour and Mrs. W. E. McKie of this city and Mrs. Catherine Snow of Phoenix, AZ, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Willey of Los Angeles and Mrs. Frank Shultz of Gilbert, AZ, to whom heartfelt sympathy is extended in their hour of grief.
