Death came at Resthaven Convalescent Home following a year's illness. A native of Lancaster, MO, he was born April 27, 1877. He was educated in Missouri and married Emma MARTIN there in 1900. A retired farmer, he moved to Colorado in 1930 and had lived in Delta for eight years. He is survived by his wife: four sons, C. W. Schull of Delta, Loren Schull of Marysville, Calif. Raymond Schull of Houston, Tex., and Rex Schull of Lancaster, Calif.;, five daughters, Mrs. Leslie Smith of Newbury, Calif.; Mrs. John Sanders and Mrs. Ross Sanders of Garden City, Mrs. Art Craft of Deerfield, and Mrs. Ray Walker of Scott city; two brothers, Bert Schull of Sylvia and Elmer Schull of Brighton, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Lena Kirkpatrick of Denver; 30 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Three sons and two daughters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon at Delta with burial in the Delta Cemetery *********** Additional Comments: William was born in Schuyler County Missouri, raised his family in Kansas and South Dakota, and lived in Colorado from the 1920's. He lived in Delta from about 1945 until his death in 1953. William's 3rd great-grandfather was Edward "Neddie" Boone, brother of Daniel Boone. The Boone and Scholl families (original spelling) have a long history together, from Kentucky to Missouri. Incidentally, his eldest son, Orville Schull, Orville's wife Edna Kimmel Schull, and their son, Wallace Orville Schull, are also buried in the Delta Cemetery.
