Clark Elderfinder@aol.com November 3, 2002, 9:10 am Mrs. Nettie May Stucker Paonia - Mrs. Nettie May Stucker, 89, a longtime Paonia and Delta County resident, died at 5 a.m. Saturday in Horizon's Nursing Home at Cory. Born Nettie Reed on Feb. 16, 1884, in Oklahoma, she spent her early childhood in Oklahoma and then came to Colorado. She married Nathan W. Stucker on May 12, 1902, at Crawford. The couple lived at Crawford, Hotchkiss and Paonia. Mr. Stucker, a farmer and cattleman, died Sept. 2, 1949. Mrs. Stucker's interests included ceramics and outdoor activities such as fishing. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Paonia. Surviving are a son, Ray C. Stucker of Long Barn, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Earl Penfield of Delta, Mrs. Bill Jones of Camino, Calif., Mrs. Martin Harshberger of Nucla, Mrs. Grant Hesseltine of Cle Elum, Wash., Mrs. glen Lollar of Manhattan Beach, Calf., and Mrs. Arnold Jones of Camino, Calif.; five brothers, including Perry Reed of Read and George Reed of Hotchkiss; two sisters, including Mrs. Catherine Godman of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. ========= STUCKER Funeral services for Nettie May Stucker will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Paonia, Lloyd C.
