BOYD, DENVER RESIDENT 23 YEARS DIES --------- Father of Mrs. Thomas R. Powell Expires at 83; Was Born in Missouri. George A. Boyd, eighty-three years old, and a pioneer resident of Denver, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas R. Powell, 2253 Albion Street. Boyd came to Denver twenty-three years ago from Missouri, where he had been successfully engaged in various business enterprises. He has made his home in Denver with his daughter, the wife of Thomas R. Powell of the Cooper-Powell Furniture Company. He is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. George B. Grey of Denver and Mrs. W. E. Alexander of California. The funeral will take place at the Powell residence at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
